Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatha
swamy Temple is popularly known as Dharmasthala. This is a temple which is on
the banks of the Nethravathi River. Temple is in Belthangadi taluk of the
Dakshina kannada district in Karnataka. Lakshadeepa, the festival of lights, is the
annual festival of Dharmasthala. About this temple local peoples says that the
Shiva Linga in Darmasthala by a local person by a great power, named Annappa.
On an average the flow of devotees is about 10,000 people
per day, and for them Annadhasoha committee will arrange food facilities. The
place known for its deferent kind of social service like Mass marriage, Anna
dana, Vidya dana etc.
